-- The pirate in Goldfield, NV that became a licensed LPFM with the help of Harry Reid.

-- The Class B FM maximum power waiver granted to KMPC-FM 101.9 (now KSCA), back when Gene Autry owned it. A strong supporter of Reagan, he filed during the Bush 41 administration and reportedly retained a lawyer who was well connected with the White House during that time. 

I'm curious to know how L.B. Wilson was able to push through his application for WCKY's massive nighttime signal on 1530.  Does anyone here know more about his political influence?
