And their overload problems.  Before I purchased my own SA, I once spent weeks peaking, optimizing, replacing dish, replacing coax, climbing ladders, etc, etc, only to find that I had too good of a dish without enough loss in the feed line for the receiver to operate without dropping out.  A 10db attenuator in the line made it work 100%.  Go figure...
