Someone suggested I use the 32-bit version of Java, but I get an error message when I try to launch it to the effect of it can't find javam.  If I try a 64-bit Java, the DOS window briefly flashes, then nothing.  Is this one of those issues where only a certain build of Java works?"

Yes, Playlist Editor works on Win7/x64.  You need to locate the PATH variable editor (in the System applet's advanced settings in Control Panel) and append to the end of the string the path to the Windows Java executable (javaw.exe).  That has to be done on all machines which will use any WOAFR app.
