Or, a cheap scope, and older discriminator FM radio, and a way to calibrate.
Of course, this method will not ignore the legal over-mod.
( those pesky overmod peaks that we now ignore thanks to
Eric Small and that whole "which peaks" thing some years ago,
essentially obsoleteing real physics in favor of complicated
proprietary loudness maximization )
