It appears as though the merger shown here, in which the company became a wholly-owned subsidiary for zero-value stock, was the last gasp.

They probably filed with the SEC to prevent a financial review which __might__ show that the value of the company was drained away internally.

Their Web Page is still up and does not show anything about a temporary closure. Some small companies (usually International) will close for two weeks in the Summer so all employees can take a vacation.
