Hmm...that may explain why I couldn't see 49 (RF 50) at all from Solon 
on Wednesday/Thursday, too.

23 is on 23. I think they had 59 as a transitional channel, but not sure 
they ever actually built it. My Pax/ion station near me never built its 
out-of-core transitional channel and instead just flash-cut from analog 
51 to RF 23 on transition day, once 23 was opened up by another analog 
that moved.

I'm sure 8 would have been fine for me in Solon with a better antenna. I 
was using a portable antenna for a makeshift setup in the guest room of 
my friend's house where I was staying.

Rabbitears.info and TVfool.com are both very good sources for "what's on 
the air" questions about DTV...
