The 4CX Modulator's filament is to ground through the center-tapped
transformer. Everything fairly conventional at the modulator .....
Its the RF section that is floating thousands of volts above ground.
The wirewound was floating in the air on it's leads telling me that
it had been arcing to it's case ground once upon a time. There is an
inductor across the wirewound... so the resistor must shunt some AC
across the inductor ....
Back to the books.
