[BC] Need audio delay buffer

How much of a delay do you need?  There are inexpensive Behringer products
that include audio delays for synchronizing PA system speakers so the rear
of the house plays when the sound from the front of house reaches the rear.
For example the Shark FBQ 100 with up to 2.5 seconds of delay.  $100 bucks.

I need to synchronize audio with lagging digital video.  Can anybody
recommend a product that takes baseband audio input and delays it by a
variable adjustment before outputting it?
