     I thought the Crazy Eddie spots were HOA, too, but the weight of 
opinion on the internet ('Errabundi Saepe, Semper Certi') says it was 
Jerry Carroll.

    And I agree.  The "Kars for Kids" PSAs are about the worst I've ever 
heard.  We don't air 'em.  They aren't even cute.  Just annoying.

    Someone somewhere imagined that having "kids" sing the spots would 
be charming, but they apparently didn't listen to the result.  It's a 
great cause and all that, but if the spots chase listeners then (a) they 
don't work, and (b) stations won't air them.  I haven't heard them on 
air anywhere around here (Philadelphia) in years.
