Wow!  You would probably do better with low level combining into a linear 
amplifier, two exciters plus notch filters for 40 kHz, 80 kHz on the output 
along with a 1500 kHz LP filter.  Each exciter would require very good LP 
filtering before entering the linear amplifier.  It would make an 
interesting project for a transmitter manufacturer.  The power bill would be 
another story!

That is a dicey separation but if it is a matter of keeping the license or 
not I would go for it, at least temporarily. >
