[BC] Diplexing AM Stations

Is 960 kHz too close in frequency to 1000 kHz to be diplexed
into one tower?

It wouldn't make much sense to do this in the case I'm
thinking about, but I'm just curious if it could be done.

WHYL 960 has been off the air since mid April and thanks to a
member of this list I learned that the two tower array was
taken down shortly after. The license was purchased by the
owner of WIOO 1000 but the land where the towers were located
apparently didn't come with the purchase. Two hundred degrees
separation.
