A while back I used a concrete-like product called Sunshine or something
like that for waterproofing house foundations. I bought it at Manards in
Minnesota. You mix it like pancake mix in a wheel barrow or old dishpan or
similar, get it to the right consistency, then paint it on with a HD wide
yellow bristle brush made for the purpose. You don't need to stir it to
death to keep it from setting if you work diligently. It's gritty but it
'paints' surprisingly well. When dry, it is really waterproof. I had
basements in my rental properties that leaked like sieves until I painted
this stuff on the outside and inside of the block foundations -- then dry as
toast thereafter. Great product, cheap for a 50 lb bag. Good luck with
this endeavor.

>Here's an idea I recently came across: "paint" it with cement. Mix up some
cement and water and paint it right on with a brush. Not too much water, and
you have to keep stirring it.
