[BC] Telephone--what's a telephone?

FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler is a "digitally enamored" idiot. I saw an  
example of how well an all-digital system would work following a  
(minor) disaster. The cellphone system did not work for days following  
the earthquake in Olympia, WA several years ago.

Same would be the situation in an all digital phone system. Right now  
if everything else fails, I still have phone service because I have  
copper with battery to the house andI have several old style Bell  
phones that do not need to be connected to the 110vac in order to  
work. Further, if I *really* had to, I could make/receive a call with  
junk I have around the house.

Friends do not let friends go all digital!

That's my most humble of opinions....
