I made the motion at the meeting in Indianapolis.
Right now, we have no age limit.
When this was adopted originally, the founders of the Society
had visions of generations of engineers climbing up the ladder
and a person who had ten years consecutive SBE membership years
to qualify for "Life", as long as they weren't 'moonlighting'.
That changes on January 1st, and "The Signal" will have more
to say on it.
If you want to go 'Life' right now, the old rules apply and the form
is at sbe.org.
January 1st, it goes to 65 years old and 15 consec. years of SBE
membership.
