 Snakes don't bite lawyers --professional courtesy.
I once tried to give away some technology that would automatically stop the flow of fuel if an engine separated from an aircraft. A Boeing lawyer claimed that using new technology would expose them to unreasonable risks of litigation. The "invention" was a loose knot in the fuel line which would tighten if the engine broke away as long as the weakest link was on the engine and the strongest on the wing's har4-point (it is).
