As an end-user, though, I simply join you (the manufacturer) through a counterclaim, arguing that as an end user I have a reasonable expectation that the product I bought from you doesn't infringe on someone's patent.

Of course, that's the game the trolls are playing--extortion--since it costs too much to do this.

In the case of IBOC, which is already dying as a solution in search of a problem--this will probably kill it.

On the other hand, we could use J.B. Potter's solution of using the patent attorneys as doorstops--but that stains the rugs & lets in a funny smell.
