I thought, at the very beginning of this, the 'major players' had to ante' up some number,
like a Million dollars each, to be considered 'founding fathers' of this mode of broadcasting.
There was some promise of reward, on the back end, too!
That's probably why that group is being sued.

Given the licensing structure under Ubiquity, I would be surprised if they are not shortly brought into the suit.
This is a particularly nasty business, suing the end users. How would any of these companies know whether the equipment they are using infringe a patent? When it gets down to small business ( as in a suit involving Cisco routers) the practice invites anarchy, and a valid charge of extortion.
