Bill:

I had this exact same experience, except when I was informed the tower owner had Alzheimer's Disease,
and that a far away court was handling the tower owner's affairs, the Commission simply said, 'we can't
keep a database of owner's health'....and they were right. Phone numbers were disconnected, and I got
owner information through the courthouse. The owner was three years behind on real estate taxes.

We expect 100% compliance, and get 96% and aren't happy about it.

By the way, I managed to purchase the three acres and forty year old tower and block building, through
the court system, and upgraded the Commission's database, upon transfer of ownership. They brought
the man into court, in flip-flops and appeared to be five years old!

The 'human element' failed, in this case. But, I don't have a solution for you.

As it happens, I think I know who now owns the tower, but shouldn't the FCC care that the information is wrong? Shouldn't they tell the new owner to update its registration
