If you were a regular watcher of NBC's Huntley-Brinkley Report back in the 
'60's, you'll recognize the second movement of Beethoven's *ninth* 
symphony, as it was played over the program's end credits.

The John Williams music NBC was using the last time I tuned in one of 
their newscasts doesn't hold a candle to it, IMHO.
