[BC] Directional Antenna Proofs

At one station I worked, the corporate folks brought in a consultant to
determine why the ratings weren't as they expected. His determination was
that the signal wasn't reaching every part of the city that it should...a
new FM antenna was installed and the ratings stayed the same. Later the GM
asked if we were operating at full power, I told him that we were, and in
fact we were pushing the upper limit. He seemed to think the problem was
something technical because he was certain it was being programmed properly.

A few years later the station was sold, the format was changed and it's
ratings went up !   Imagine that...playing something people wanted to hear
actually made ratings go up !....what an amazing concept. };>)
