It went back on the new motor even easier. No corrosion or rust--the TX is
in an air conditioned building.
I had the same results, the key to a Z...is keeping it cool. Once it has
had "heat insult" it will be a pain. I have several Z's, one was inherited.
that one is the pain....it got hot several times due to poor thinking on the
ones who installed it. BTW the fan is much easier to replace on a Z than a
Rotron on an HT-10. Now adjusting a thermister to get proper air flow
indication requires removing and replacing several screws. Been very happy
with the one I installed though.
