[BC] Jocks comfort level (was ...the big 50's)

An awful lot of jocks entered a comfort zone when they put the headphones 
on...and they were used to a certain sound.  Had to have a certain mike; a 
certain model of Cans.

While most of them would not be accused of having 'Golden Ears' they WERE 
sensitive to even minor changes in that comfort zone.  Ands I s'pect some 
could probably hear the difference in transmitters.

A couple of folks on this list found a way around those jocks who complained 
"it sounds different than yesterday".  They installed processing in the 
headphone amp chain <g>
