[BC] Transmission is more than just 50 kW

Not so identical as I was told....

Willie Benns ( Billy to some ) was very creative with his calibration
of Common Point and Base Current meters at the old site.   The old  
transmitter could make the meters read 100%, but as I heard the story,  
the MW50 couldn't get much more than 60%-75% of the "normal" CP amps.

Also, the MW50 might modulate to 125% on a good day with processing,  
but the Benns/ Brennen could do more than 200% before the 125% rule  
was passed....
And this without asymetrical processing.

The utility bill went down considerably , and so did the coverage.

note :
It's possible that the Atlanta division "looked the other way"
as WVOK and WBAM could cover the whole state of Alabama with only two  
transmitters.
