More recent versions of CCleaner (which stands for "Crap Cleaner" from the days when they were young and feisty) will clean out a lot of temp files.

What I do is make hidden files visible, then I clean out everything in each user's \local settings\temp and \local settings\Temporary Internet Files folders, along with the entire contents of \Windows\Prefetch and \Windows\temp folders.  

Then I run ComboFix and CCleaner.  That way those program have fewer files to work with and it's more assurance that the computer is less likely to get reinfected.
