I've had good luck with Panda.  It seems to work and doesn't take a lot of 
CPU that others do.  I ended up dropping McAfee as it often froze computers 
for a period of time.  I suppose everyone has had good luck or bad luck with 
a specific brand.

I do wish that Microsoft would allow the major part of the OS to be on a 
DVD.  That would absolutely block virus infection.
