"Members of the public who wish to have access to material in the Library
may present their request to the staff of the FCC Reference Information
Center, located at 445 12th Street, S.W. Washington, D.C."

The library itself has been closed, ostensibly to because space was needed
for personnel. But the records are still available AFAIK

Security is not that bad (though still a sad commentary of the times we live
in) - Just bring valid photo ID, check in at the front desk, tell them you
want to go to the Reference Information Center, pass through the metal
detector (and they scan your bag), and you're through. They do ask you to
turn on your computer and cell phone, just to see the screen flash on to be
sure its "real".

More pleasant than security at FEMA down the street, which truly is
airport-like now. Even had to take off my belt.

So I guess that's what "transition" means.

BTW, if the FCC filings are no longer available to the public, that's a
violation of law.
