[BC] Lost in IT land ( HELP !! )

OK .... I'm IT Challenged.

Small station with a Belkin N300 router.
SAGE endec.

The ISP will provide an outside IP Address of aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

What do I need to do on the station side of the modem to be able to connect
to the SAGE from my home computer ?

Is "port forwarding" a one-way or two way street ?

I "think" I need incoming port 80 opened, but do I need other ports opened to
send vu meters, audio streams, and emails ?   CAP ??
