Yes, I wish we had implemented the P-codes here. I pushed hard for that. After all, Riverside County and San Bernardino County are each bigger than several states on the east coast. It takes about 3 hours to drive across either of them at 70 mph. And since they are split up by mountain ranges, there are natural boundaries. Here in the Coachella Valley, we could care less about what's happening in Riverside, Temecula or Blythe. The bright spot is that we can't pick up the NWS transmitters from these other areas, for the very reason mentioned above.
