[BC] Usefulness of EAS

We kind of have that problem as well.  The WX radio blows up far too  
often, and the radio stations pretty much ignore it.  They might  
mention the warning, but they don't blow tones.

My wife gets annoyed, but she understands it might be important to our  
safety, so she allows the announcement and mutes the alert, waiting  
for the next one.

She understands that I care, and I am the guy with the guns.
