I am afraid that I, too, must ask the same question. We have a new Sage
Endec and it is set up so that anything not immediately life-threatening
(tornado watch or amber alert, for example) pops up a window (delayed send)
letting anyone on duty know that an alert has been received and allowing us
to act as "call screener" or, at least delay the message until a natural
break in programming. If it's something that *is* life threatening (tornado
warning, for example), it gets passed on, immediately. It just takes a
little bit of discussion, planning (as to what warrants "relay immediately"
and what warrants "delay for screening") and programming of the EAS system
to reflect those decisions.

We do get calls about alerts, too. So far, all have been compliments.
