I have an RCA dating from the mid 1930's in my living room. It (like most
radios of that era) is certainly a superhet, although the Radiola 18 above
my fireplace is a TRF design. It dates from 1924. Both radios need new
tubes, alas.

My brother has a McMurdo Silver Masterpiece VI, a superb radio made in
1938. It and my RCA used to belong to my late grandfather.
