[BC] Switching Cell Phone Carriers

I recently switched from att to Verizon and purchased a new phone thru
Amazon.  Everything went very smoothly, plus Amazon had that phone
(Razor Maxx) for $100 less than everyone else.   Even porting over my
old number was seamless.  When I got the phone one day sooner than
promised, I followed the activation instructions and within 20 minutes
my new phone was working and old phone service ended.   Very easy.

I called this certain cell phone carrier again today and about 1030 this
morning, they tell me "Your order was cancelled at 630pm last night
because we couldn't verify you were at the service address you gave us"

Even though there's a local store 15 minutes to my east, it's only a
reseller. I have to visit a corporate store, 1 hour to my Northwest on
Saturday to redo/restart the entire process! I won't even be able to
keep the original number I was given Friday and I'll have to do the
credit check all over again!!
