RCA, GATES, COLLINS & TTC All manufactured 20,000 Watt FM transmitters using the 4CX-15,000-A Tubes. The 4CX-15,000A tubes were manufactured and/or labeled under labels by Westinghouse, General Electric, Machlett, RCA, Eimac and others. One Eimac specification sheet clearly showed the
4CX-15,000A from Eimac tested for FM Braodcast service at 25 kW. on 107.9 mHz. Continental pushed the tube to 27.5 kW. The first transmitter went to Oklahoma City, OK. in 1981.
