 I'll agree with being suspicious, unless the situation is repeatable at will.

 Still, we all know parasitic resonances occur for weird reasons.
 Distance from the filament lead ( inside the tube ) to the
 cabinet wall....
 Inductance from the length of the current path...

 Who knows.
