[BC] STL recommendations in the year 2012

Barix really needs to deal with anomolies.  I have 4 extreamers and 
replaced them all but one, and that on is on a scheduled relay to power 
up when needed for a 2 hour show then power down.

I "extream" now with is Icecast Server on a Winamp source with the plug 
in Oddcast.  (all free).

I "instream" with winamp light and a house-written plugin that checks 
for stalls once a second.  Additionally, at 3am, there's code that 
actually closes winamp and relaunches it for a fresh start.

No problems.  Much better than Barix.
