I think this guy can probably order 100 of the displays and maybe build a production run if he has the orders...which he'd need something like 16 to get the order going. Or optionally see if he would sell the display board sans the displays and you install the color of your choice.  The way the clock is built results in a great deal of flexibility.  The daughter board is really the mother board and it is simply DIP header connected to the main display board. Nice design.

The display series he uses is from an overseas company and the green and yellow/amber brightness might be an issue.  I noted the green is a tad dimmer than I would prefer.  But red is really sharp and bright and might be a bit strong for a small room.
