 It's been thought of, by me anyway.
 The problem is someone to fund the project. I can't, and anyone I know
 who could, is too risk averse.

 Could be done at, say 6 or ten meters fairly cheaply, to prove the concept.
 Then, FCC issues......
 You know, the government engineers supervised by lawyers who seem
 to think that a different band ( by regulatory fiat ) has different physics.
