So Andy,

I can't help asking -

Was the management interested in improving productivity by making the 
production room available so the producers could do "both,"  wink, wink. Make 
better use of the time ;-)

Were they that cramped for studio space?

Or did they figure the men's room would make a great reverberation chamber? 
That might be fine, until one of those occasional bursts of very low 
frequency audio :-D

If they wanted the reverb, a speaker and mic would do it. However, I've 
occasionally heard reverb and my first reaction was, gee it sounds like they 
are in a rest room.  Born losers.
