[BC] Simian and Soundcards

The ASI cards work better because they have their own DSP for reading/writing mpeg files and have on board memory, where devices rely on system resources to do a lot of the heavy lifting.  A lot of printers are like that.

I have a couple 4000 series cards kicking around if anyone is interested.  Not sure what they are worth.  ASI warns they do not play well with the newer chipsets.

I also have a set of Computer Concepts cards that would work in a DCS or older Maestro, these are full size ISA cards.  Anyone still running those?
