[BC] Maintaining older transmitters

I've had to wade through some of the work that a contract engineer did many
moons ago, but I wouldn't call him "lazy".  He's intelligent, but spent too
much of his contracting career working for cheap *@$%^$# that wanted it
fixed fast and cheap.

How many of those boxes that you've reclaimed were truly bad?  Half?  Just
wondering.
