I don't disagree, however there are more, and I will get back to that.
Nautel still supports everything. A friend had a transmitter in the
basement of a building. The building was used as the studio of
another station -- it used to be a co-located studio/transmitter site.
The studio burned. There was never fire in the basement, but it was
full of water, and smoke got to the AMFET 5.
We brought in generators, lights and pumps. We pumped out the
basement, and then the station staff got to the transmitter. Within
days, with the help of Nautel, the transmitter was back on the air in
a condemed building, with some sort of a waver from building and
zoning and the Fire Marshall. I wasn't involved much past volunteer
work getting the lights on and the basement dry. Like a few other
disasters, you just pitch in and wait for karma to come and pay you
back. This did happen to me when I had an antenna fire on December
23. All kinds of people came to help me out, and I still have fond
regards for them.
