The folks in Tuopelo (SP) need an education and that dangerous ordinance
reversed. First and foremost, flipping breakers creates a spark inside
the breaker. If there are flamable gases present in an area removed from
the existing fire or other event, the result will be obvious. And it won't
matter whether the person actuating the breaker is wearing a present day
Kevlar lined turn-out coat and pants. It will not protect a first
responder from that level of explosion.

IIRC, UL hermetically sealed breakers are not widely available anyway.
QUITE specialized.
