Donna -

I think you mean Odysseus, which a group of programmers have developed as a successor to Eudora. The developers initially tried to buy the Eudora source code from Qualcomm, but the latter declined to sell it. They ended up having to develop a new product from scratch, mimicking the look-and-feel and functionality of Eudora.

I've been using Eudora since back when all I had was Juno dialup, and I've been an Odysseus beta tester for some time.

BTW, I still have a Juno dialup account, which has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions when I've been working at a remote transmitter site with no broadband. One of the benefits to that account is that I can send mail through the Juno SMTP server from any of my email accounts and from any location - Eudora is set up to send all email through the Juno server. Of course, I use POP3 for incoming mail for all of my dozen-plus email accounts - I despise webmail.
