[BC] Facebook virus

I received one of those emails a few days ago from a long-time friend.  One interesting thing about this was at the bottom was a list of others (including several from this list) who I "might know".  Some I did know (or knew of), other names were unfamiliar.  I know better to click on links in unsolicited emails.
 
How did they know about me?  I am not a Facebook (or any other social networking site) member.
 
I'm not entirely pleased about this, if for no reason other than the possibility for more spam.
