It was the kit. By the time we bought it, Sparta owned the Bauer
transmitter line. We built it in the station owner's garage and powered it
up off his dryer outlet.

I had heard the Kelly Girl story from Paul. That was a great idea! It
turns out that when I was in elementary school, Paul lived next door to my
school and was working at Bauer.
