I'm with you on this, Jeff. When you get these things running on the LAN they are really nice. I have a few HP LaserJet printers hanging on my networks at the various stations and they really work well that way. Plus, as Jason probably mentioned, you avoid having the printer unavailable because somebody shut down the PC that it's attached to.

Beauty of this system is...you can cheat if necessary and share the *networked* printer on a machine, and have a few people connect that way, or if you need some temporary users, connect them that way. As long as the machine that you're "sharing" it on is working properly with the printer, so will those who might need to access it via Windows printer sharing rather than by network printing.
