If you intend to use AES/EBU digital audio on the output end, be careful.
I'm working on a problem at the moment with a Moseley DSP6000D. The AES/EBU
audio is not detected by either the Orban 8400 or Titus 3-DRX units. Yet
any other AES/EBU audio sources are detected. This is the same problem with
two separate Moseley units, so it's not a defect but a design problem. It's
been suggested that some data flags are either wrong or missing. I'm trying
to locate an analyzer so I can see just what the output has in it's
configuration.
This particular STL has analog in to the DSP6000E encoder at the studio end.
Goes digitally through the path and comes out the transmitter end where we
use the DSP6000D decoder analog into the processor. That works fine.
Overall it's a decent STL, other than this AES/EBU quirk.
