I believe one of Carl's first DA's, if not THE first, was in Cleveland where he dropped a long wire from one of the tall tower's guys and used it as a parasitic reflector to throw a null to the North (Canada). Maybe Roy Stype or Al Warmus, if they are on the list, could comment on this.
