When I was there, the Transmitter Site needed to be mowed BAD and the
srubs and small trees needed to be removed. The thing has a KILLER
Signal, but I am sure some RF is being wasted heating up the plants
instead of heating up the Ionosphere.

Give me a few minutes and I will post pictures of it to my Facebook site

Me too! I got tired of the Dog-Eat-Dog Rat Race of Big Market Corporate
Radio and that is why I am at a small group of AM Catholic stations in SC.

I would LOVE to get my hands on a small 1KW Station myself, but right
now, finances will not allow that. The best I can do for now is Fire up
my Gates BC-500H on 1885. I have an RCA BTA1R1 in perfect "As New"
condition I would LOVE to put in my own AM station. :-) I would run Live
& Local for at least the Drive Times. With just a Kilowatt, you can
build up the Audience then afford to sell spots for a Dollar a Holler
for 30s. Hire a GREEDY Sales guy at 25% Commission and he will load up
your spot inventory.
