[BC] 120-minute cassettes

One manufacturer I kinda like was Denon.  Never had any problems with their 
shorter tapes and the audio sounded alright.  Maxell was ok, as long as you 
didn't get way off into all the noise reduction stuff.  Same for TDK.

  But those clients who brought in the 120s recorded on a mchine that was 
lubed with generous amounts of  30w Castrol or whatever... yeesh.  Those 
were usually the preachers who on a budget bought the ElCheapo noname white 
cassettes which weighed about a pound and a half, so they could mail out the 
sermon every week, to all the shut ins as well as to the station...

  I even had better luck with the Radio Shack tapes than those things. 
(Yes, back in the day Radio Shack actually sold great car stereos, booming 
component systems, tubes, tapes... tape cleaning tools, etc.  I  even bought 
a Vectronix dummy load there that still works fine. Impedance dead on 
50ohms, rated for a few hundred watts, I've tuned all kinds of stuff with it 
and never had a problem.)

Durn kids makin me remember stuff...
